The world seems to be getting smaller for several reasons.

In modern days, after the world became one village, the word seems to be getting smaller for several reasons. First of all, media, TV, and Internet, which are the most important part of our lives, seems smaller. It makes people communicate and connect each other albeit they live in different country. Of course, they weren’t popular and people didn’t use it. However, these days, everyone would be familiar with those words. They know what is happening in the world by reading newspapers, TV, and Internet like Japan’s earthquake. Second, transportation seems smaller such as cars, airplanes, and train. Our forefather couldn’t go to city to city before transportation came out. They took a long time and they spent most of their time to get there. But, now we can’t get our destination as early as we can. Also, we can travel anywhere we want to go. We can feel that the world is small. Finally, telephone, e-mail, and facebook also look smaller. We don’t live in the same country or the same apartment. We can make new friends through facebook though they haven’t met before. By using SKYPE, they also can chat face to face with their family who lives in the other country. Fortunately, we can use it for free. We don’t have to worry about it. Also,they can know what is going on and what happened immediately. These facts show that the world is smaller.
